Tateyama R&D Europe Ltd. was established in 1997 as an affiliate of
the Japanese TATEYAMA
KAGAKU GROUP. The aim of the foundation was to inspire and utilize
innovative human resources in Hungary with the aid of Japanese technology and
Tateyama works in close cooperation with several Universities
in Hungary, providing scholarships for both students and their supervisors.
Among these institutions are the Budapest
University of Technology and Economics as well as the University
Tateyama develops and produces mainly for the Japanese
market. We supply Sony and Matsushita among others though we would like to aim
the European market with some of our new developments. At present we are
developing in three main fields:
- Development of user and programming interfaces for industrial robots,
especially for circuit mounting machines and development of PC based PLC/NC
controller boards and related software.
- Application development using the PAL360 lens. This is a Hungarian patent
which is able to take circular, 360 degree photos.
- Office automation application development.
